Hell all!! This was growing in red river gorge in Kentucky. We found multiple around a secluded waterfall (upper chimney falls). It had a hard exterior shell with a woody, nutty, sweet smell on the inside. It was pink on the inside & had seeds. Any ideas? Our google and reverse image searches yield ivory nut palms and shampoo ginger, both of which look quite different. Thank you!! 🙂
