Getting to stand in my pool before it was even in my backyard was one of the coolest experiences ever. Now, this is a project from start to finish, so buckle up. They painstakingly dug for days in our limestone soil, leaving us with a giant hole perfect for a pool. The crew was calm, cool, and collected, and that’s the only way I made it through the day with my anxiety. Then, it was time to agonize over all the finishing details. Not because I had to, but because it’s who I truly am. It’s the details that make or break any design for me, and I’m here to make it. So, the coping has to be the right color. The trees have to be the right distance apart, and the deck has to be the right design. I had fun watching the process instead of doing it myself, and definitely learned some tips and tricks for the future. The cover was the last thing to be installed before filling the pool. So, when they finished, the very last person working on the pool just left. That means we’re ready to fill it. me [Music] together. I got you. You’re my starlight. I need you.
