From October 25 to November 2, the gardens will be transformed into an autumnal wonderland, celebrating ‘The Secret Life of Pumpkins’.

The fun-filled programme includes a range of activities for all ages, from pumpkin trails to live carving, insect encounters, and spooky story times.

Visitors can also enjoy a Zombie Disco, where they can dress up and dance the night away, and participate in creepy crafts.

Sow the City will be present to educate families on the electrical currents of plants.

Zoolab workshops will offer a hands-on experience with creepy crawlies, adding to the Halloween-themed fun.

The Pumpkin Garden Trail will provide seasonal displays, and expert craftsmen will be carving the Bridgewater pumpkin.

The events promise a mix of entertainment and education, with a chance to explore the gardens in their autumnal colours.

Children’s tickets are priced at £5, while adult entry starts from £14.50.

Members and under-fives can enter for free.

For more information and to book tickets, visit the Royal Horticultural Society’s website.

The event is part of a wider programme across all five RHS Gardens, offering a range of activities for families to enjoy this half-term.
