What are these insects on my monstera leaf?
There were several of them on this one leaf and on the floor around the leaf. No other leaf had them.. a few were crawling on the pot near the leaf as well

OMG those look like stink bugs 😭 Kill them now because they’ll kill your plant. Super destructive

Ooo looks like they laid eggs too time to burn the house down. Joking but I would burn that leaf after I chopped it off

Kill themÂĄ Sadly that will involve you having to get them off the leaf and squash or brush them off into a bowl of boiling water. The wipe your plant with a bit of isopropyl alcohol

Stink bug nymphs. I put gloves on and squish them when I don’t have my neem oil spray close. They transfered mosaic virus to my potted jalapeno plant I’ve babied for 4 years now. I had to destroy my whole plant, which really sucked!đŸ˜«

Oh no, all the replies are scary. 😳
I vacuumed them up and threw out and cut the whole leaf and threw it out as well. I have applied a neem oil spray now. I hope it is isolated to this plant alone 😑😑

This is my first time seeing a stink bug infestation, I’ll add it to the list of bugs to be on the lookout for. Oof.

    black aphids (tiny sap-sucking insects).
They weaken plants and also leave behind sticky honeydew that can attract ants or lead to mold growth. Rinse them off with a strong spray of water.
    Neem oil or insecticidal soap

This made me itch so bad. In the trash as far away from my house as possible. I wouldn’t sleep for days.
