i got this cutting from a friend, it already had a long aerial root. i’ve had it sitting in water for about 6 weeks now and it’s putting out new tiny leaves in the water but no new root system… is this normal?? i don’t know what to do differently. i’ve never grown a pink princess before, but i’ve been propagating a few other philodendron cuttings in the same jar and they are rooting normally, this is the only one acting differently. any advice would be so appreciated, i am still learning

What is the humidity like for your propagations? Since this is a high humidity demanding plant, I would think that would be just as true for propagating it. It might also prefer to prop in perlite, but that would also require high humidity
