Was gifted a monstera. Battled root rot. Decided to chop and prop. This guy had two leaves, second leaf just turned black- I’m assuming it got put between the jar and wall when I was moving the tank around. It’s been in a betta tank a few weeks. These are roots yes? Soooo many from one spot 😬😮 and there’s a small new green growth I’m hoping is a possible future stem? So. When do we think I should plant this? And how? I can’t really bury the roots without burying the new growth? What say we about this guy?

Good. Give it time. Plant when the roots grow much more so it can sustain itself and stay hydrated. Ideally when roots grow roots.
