So step one with growing fruit trees in a container. So I’m going with these 25gallon plastic containers. These were $12.99. Well, when it comes to growing most fruit trees, you want to go with at least a 15 to 20 gallon. So this is going to be really heavy to move. So, I will need a dolly in the winter if I’m going to need to move anything that might need to be protected from frost.

  1. I’ve lived in my house (12) years now and REALLY regret not planting some trees that first year! They’d all be so beautiful by now! 🤦🏻‍♀️

  2. You can also find containers similar to those, in Wal Mart, the ones with braided nylon handles. I think I paid 10.98 each, and I used them to plant lemon and peach trees. Very sturdy material. And don't forget to make the holes with a drill and add some rocks in the bottom , for better draining.
