The Phoenix is one of the three pets in Grow a Garden that can be received from the Enchanted Chest.
Both the Phoenix and the Enchanted Chest were released as part of Fairy event. And while you may be on a quest to collect all of the pets, this particular one can apply the Flaming mutation to nearby crops.

Trait: Increases age value of pets from mutation machine, and applies Flaming mutation to crops.
How to get the Phoenix
To get the Phoenix, you’ll need to get hold of a Enchanted Chest. The odds are quite low, with just a 1% chance of receiving a Phoenix.
Since it’s a reward as part of the Fairy event though, you should have multiple chances to earn it so long as you keep participating in all the activities in and around Fairy World, acquiring and using the required materials to craft it.

Specifically, to be able to craft the Enchanted Chest, you’ll need the following:
Sunbulb x1
Enchanted Seed Pack x1
Enchanted Egg x1
Fairy Points x6000
Phoenix traits
The Phoenix has a couple of solid traits which make it a sought after pet in Grow a Garden. Its first is that any pets taken from the mutation machine will receive a bonus to their age, with an increase between 1 and 4.89.
Additionally, whilst the Phoenix is roaming around, every 6 minutes and 40 seconds, it’ll apply the Flaming mutation to four random fruit in your garden. As an added bonus, fruits passed have around a 20% chance to mutate as well.
