I purchased this African Violet back in 2016 and it was pretty healthy for a few years but became sick and it eventually died. I think I bought it from Lowes or Home Depot. The buds would start out as a pale green with light pink tips, then change to white or light pink with darker pink edges, and eventually change to a deeper pink and completely lose the green tones. The petals were very shimmery and looked almost like they had been sugared. Any idea what variety this was? I later purchased a Rocky mountain variety because it looked similar to this original plant but I’m not sure if that’s what this one was.

It is a NOID a no identity African Violet. Once a name/label is lost threre is no way to identify it. There are literally 10s of thousands of named AV varieties.
Having said that, if this was bought at Lowes or Home Depot, it may be an AV from Optimara. Optimara has website with help on identifying their varieties. Seems it would be simpler for them to just include a label, but that is big business for you. [https://www.optimara.com/optimarafieldguide.html](https://www.optimara.com/optimarafieldguide.html)
Just beautiful!
Am I the only one with google lens?? LoL. I will attempt to add a picture but it doesn’t often show. The name is Rocky Mountain. If it doesn’t appear
