Make your way to the Fairy World in Grow a Garden where you can catch more fairies and get all sorts of new items. This new area to explore was added on September 6, 2025, as an expansion of the Fairy Update. Now, instead of just catching fairies for Fairy Points once per hour, there’s even more to do. Find out how to use the Fairy Ring and everything there is to know about the Fairy World.
This guide is a work-in-progress while we learn more about the Fairy Update expansion. We’ll add more information over time!
How to Use the Fairy Ring in Grow a Garden
The Fairy Ring is a portal that you can enter to get to the Fairy World. It appears 30 minutes after the Fairies event has started. This is the event that starts every hour and lasts for 10 minutes by default. Since the portal timer is based on when the event starts, it shouldn’t matter if you’ve upgraded the Fairies event to last longer.
That means the Fairy Ring will only appear once per hour since it’s 30 minutes after the Fairies event starts. But not every 30 minutes, just to clarify. It will then last for 10 minutes before fading away. So if you want to check out the Fairy World to capture fairies or buy new items, make sure you hop inside while it’s still there!
In order to use the Fairy Ring portal, you’ll need to find it on the island once it appears. As shown in the above screenshot, it looks like a raised patch of grass with a bunch of little mushrooms. Walk up to the portal and interact with it to go through. For those on PC, it’s E to interact.
What’s in the Fairy World?
The Fairy World is a magical place where you can trade Fairy Jars with Wisps or even do a parkour course to get rewards. It’s also a good opportunity to capture more fairies for the Luminous Sprite. According to the Grow a Garden developers, fairies spawn more frequently here. So make sure you have a bunch of Fairy Nets crafted in advance.
