Got gifted a battery mower when we moved in, went from full to 2 bars under any load until recently when it just gave up halfway through. I'm slowly giving up on batteries and their proprietary nature. Our garden is a pretty average size, so I fell into a rabbit hole of vintage mowers and further into my wife's vision of living in the Good life. Found this one on eBay for about 45 pounds, It's in amazing condition, took about 10 mins to set up and adjust to give it a quick push on a little bit of grass, although it's not the best conditions to do so it cut so easily.

Yes, it will probably outlast you.
I’ve been using manual garden tools for last few years. So much more satisfying. Nicer noise too.
Love push mowers. That looks like a good find. Make sure you back-lap it with atleast once a year with some grinding paste.
The old things that’s made to last and it will last you a life time.
You’ll enjoy r/reelmowers then
I have the same. It does a great job.
ours kept breaking, we replaced it with a flymo when they were cutting edge tech.
Looks much stronger than Webbs current 30cm push model; all plastic parts that quickly dent or snap off. I was so disappointed that I went back to electric!
Takes me back to my childhood…
Budget for a scythe to go with it. Trying to mow long grass with one of those counts as cruel and unusual punishment.

Nice. I inherited one with the house. The box makes a bif difference by catching the grass. Sadly its a bit sad currently the oak rollers are rotted.
