Ive never had air plants before, so i just want to confirm before I toss them. They feel dry and brittle.

  1. They are as dead as dead gets. Still looks kinda cool though and requires no care lol

…you know plants are generally green, right? Jokes aside, I’m so sorry for your loss!

Damnit Jim I’m a doctor not a necromancer.

Try taking a few of the outer leaves off. Then submerge them overnight. Allow to dry in a sunny location. Nothing to lose.

Air plants require moisture and strong light. Generally a good heavy spray 2 or 3 times a week. Once a month a few hour immersion.
They will not survive without bright light!

There are some varietal differences which require different watering and light conditions but those general recommendations work well for most!

I have a few dead air plants on display. Feel like it’s the adult version of displaying dried up roses.

Sorry, they’re dead – but I love the Star Trek reference 🖖

The bad news is they’re dead. The good news is they’re perfect botanical specimens lol

Im so sorry to crack a joke, but it took me a minute to see the former plant in the first photo. They’re gone.
