Pull off a couple of leaves and propagate them in damp soil in a plastic bag or water propagate them. For the crown, it can also be propagated in soil under a glass dome or a clear plastic bag. There are several in depth tutorials online. Everyone has their preferences. I would try a few different ways to see what is best for you. Here is a photo of the crown I accidentally broke of of my trailer AV when repotting.
I’d cut about an inch or two off the stem, take off the bottom two rows of leaves, set it in a pot (2 or 3 inch wide pot) with damp potting mix that you’ve added 50% perlite too. Push the stem in the soil a half inch or so, making sure that the leaves and the petioles don’t touch the soil. Place the whole thing, pot and plant, into a bag that you’ve inflated. Seal the bag shut (a Gallon ziplock bag would most likely work) then put it next to your other AVs. It should be rooted in a month. At the end of the month, open the bag, but leave it in the bag. After a week, take the AV out of the bag and treat it like your other AVs and Bob’s your uncle. Best of Luck.
