How to Get Glowthorn in Grow a Garden
Glowthorn is a limited-time seed added in the Fairy Update that has a unique way of getting it. Since you’ll need an Enchanted Seed Pack for a chance at getting one, here’s how to get that pack:
Participating in the Fairy Event requires completing Fairy Favors or filling the Fountain Power meter to get a wish. Each wish gives you a choice of three options taken from the tier you’re currently on. Fortunately, every tier has a chance of giving you an Enchanted Seed Pack, so the odds are in your favor. Then, you’ll need to open them until you get the seed you want.
Did you know that the Glowthorn is one of a few Enchanted Seed Pack plants that can be a Fairy Favor? Fortunately, it doesn’t seem you’ll need the extremely rare Wispwing. But, you can end up needing plants like the Sunbulb, Glowthorn, and Lightshoot.
The nice thing about this Fairy Event seed is that it’s a multi-harvest plant. Once you have it, you can keep it in your garden for as long as you like and continue to pick from it to sell. However, you won’t be able to get seeds from Lucky Harvests since this plant isn’t in the Seed Shop.
Similarly, since Glowthorn is an event seed, you can’t rely on pets with special abilities to get them for you. Such as the Red Fox, which can duplicate certain seeds from other players’ gardens. Similarly, Dogs who can dig up random seeds won’t dig up event seeds.
