While autumn is typically the season when nature starts to wither, experts say it’s actually the perfect time to plant certain flowers for spring blooms.
Despite September’s cooler weather, the soil is typically still warm from summer and there is usually a decent amount of rainfall, which helps keep soil moist and plants healthy and satiated. This means it’s a great time to sow many kinds of seeds in your garden – in particular, perennials.
Perennials are plants which continue to bloom year after year in spring and summer. This means that planting them in autumn can give them a headstart when it comes to blooming the following spring. According to Ideal Homes, here are seven perennials that you can start planting now.
