Miracle Plum harvesting begins in mid August. These are so good. Make excellent preserves, jams and marmalade.

As mentioned definitevly mirabelle. They are graet at any cakes, I did my last cake just with a dough with yeast and some cinnamon crumble. Delicious! As jam to die for! You guessed it, i’m a big Fan!

I dont know why it auto corrected and put Miracle Plum lol but they are Mirabelle Plums and as I said harvesting begins mid August and its Sept. Their size is 0.8 to 1.2 inches harvesting is mid August to end of sept their taste is similar to an Apricot. Happy picking and eating their ready to harvest now so enjoy them.

I had one of these plums at my old house. We only ever got one fruit from it but it was the best plum I’ve ever had, and it was just a wee taste

they use to grow on the sides of the dirt roads down here in south east Georgia, never see them anymore for some reason

Looks like what I used to call an orello. That’s not it’s name but I’m very curious to know what the inside is like to know for sure. I’ve wondered forever

Looks like a Golden Nectar plum. Whether it’s this or a Mirabelle (possible) you’re in for a treat! Congratulations, plum-tree owner – now just get them before the birds do.
