This is my Manchester Begonia (I think), I don’t think it’s time just yet but i know I’ll have to prune it eventually. It’s my only rhizomatous plant so i was curious if the pruning process is different than your typical houseplant

PS

If it isn’t a Manchester begonia I’d love an ID!!

Why, though? It’s perfect and always self-prunes.

How do i propagate? A friend gave me some but they have no leaves, only nodes?

Leaves look like cane begonia but not seeing any nodes. What type of begonia is it and how come I don’t see nodes when I zoom in?

It looks like a gryphon begonia. It’s beautiful. Don’t prune it.

It’s a Gryphon and why do you want to prune it?
