You should wash more soil off of the roots and pot this desert rose higher. It’ll look more interesting with more roots exposed.

I have one of those, Desert Rose are great. Living in the UK I can’t exactly grow baobab but Desert Rose are beautiful plants in their own right!

Thank you for telling me what it really is. It was labeled baobab when I bought it.
I was relieved to find out the desert rose needs similar care to baobabs. So I didn’t do anything wrong in the two years I had it so far.

Ohno that’s how my trunk looked when I bought it as well but the leaves are a bit different from rose dessert. Is this a baobab? I also have it for 2 years and only recently done leaves started to brown… Not sure what is wrong though
