Mutations in Grow a Garden can be obtained primarily from weather events and pets. However, the game also includes Mutation Sprays, which are available from multiple sources, including Traveling Merchants, crafting recipes, and event rewards.

List of Unobtainable Mutation Sprays
As mentioned above, certain gears in Grow a Garden were exclusive to specific events. That applies to Mutation Sprays as well. Below is the list of Mutation Sprays that are no longer available in Grow a Garden. We will move these back to the section above if they make a comeback.
When players equip a Mutation Spray from their inventory and point it at a crop, it highlights the target crop. Once used, the spray is consumed and disappears from the player’s inventory. Players cannot apply a spray if the crop already has that mutation.
A cool thing about the model of the mutation spray is that it looks fuller, the bottle having color to the top, depending on how many sprays of that type the player owns. Mutation Sprays can also be used on other players’ crops.
