The Imp is one of the five pets in Grow a Garden that can be hatched from the Enchanted Egg.
Both the Imp and the Enchanted Egg were released as part of the Fairy event. And while you may be on a quest to collect all of the pets, this adorable Imp has a unique trait that can bag you plenty of useful rewards.

How to get the Imp
To get the Imp, you’ll need to get hold of an Enchanted Egg. The odds of getting this pet are quite low, with just a 15% chance of hatching an Imp.
The Enchanted Egg is a reward from the Fairy event, which tasks you with giving the Fairy Fountain crops with the Glimmering mutation. As you do, you’ll ascend reward tiers, with your chances of receiving an Enchanted Egg increasing as you climb these tiers.
The Enchanted Egg, once placed in your garden, will then take 4 hours and 10 minutes to hatch and has a chance of hatching one of five pets. This includes the Imp!
Imp traits
The Imp’s trait is a pretty fun one, and with some luck, can bag you some very useful rewards to use in your garden. Every ~6:66 minutes, you’ll be given the opportunity to chase the Imp, and upon catching it, you’ll receive one of six random rewards. There’s also a small chance that you’ll be able to chase the Imp again immediately after catching it, so pay close attention to this pet!
Rewards that you might receive upon successfully catching the Imp are as follows:
1-3x Event Lanterns
1-3x Grandmaster Sprinklers
1-3x Harvest Tools
1-3x Mutation Spray Glimmering
1-3x Reclaimers
1-3x Trading Tickets

The Mutation Spray Glimmering is particularly handy for the Fairy event, as it’ll allow you to apply the Glimmering mutation to your crops, which you can then donate to the Fairy Fountain for more rewards (including more Enchanted Eggs). With some luck, you might even get your hands on the rare Cockatrice pet!
