I just started 3 from leaf propagation. My mom talks about having one back in the day forever. She said it is the sweetest flower she’s ever smelled. Once I (hopefully) root it she will have another again after decades.
It’s been about 3 weeks and the leaves should have rooted by now… I hope. I really want to make this work so share your tips!

OH MY GOD.
Sorry, I have never heard of these plants and that is just gorgeous. I can’t get over it! Thanks for sharing 🙂

Wow. Do they close during the day, then bloom again at night?

Does the plant have to have access to both night and day? Obviously it needs sunlight to grow but if the room it’s in never actually gets dark will it bloom?

It’s an epiphyllum oxypetalum or Queen of the night. Try an oxypetalum pumilum. Amazing scent and daytime flowers
