Hey guys. Being in a rural area, it's sometimes hard, impossible or 3x more expensive getting pond and stone version. I did find this one and was wondering if it's safe to use for a vivarium for reptiles.

I’m also in the same situation, so I’m just here for the answer

Yes. It’s safe and some people prefer it over the pond version, just let it cure for 24 hours (or more) in a well ventilated area 🙂

Yes. I’ve used the multipurpose black on all of my vivariums and two paludariums. No issues, many running for years

let it cure and rinse until the bubbles stop foaming up so plants can grow on it

Safe after it dries out and no smell. Could be a day. But I’ve had enclosures smell for a week. So it’s safe to use just wait till the chemical smell goes away before adding pet.

It’s literally what you’re supposed to use.

Actually one of the best to use for it. Just be in a ventilated area.
