I’ve noticed the flowers have been dying and the leaves on the lower branches turning yellow. Am I doing something wrong?

Doubt it’s well suited to being potted, but I’ve never tried it so maybe someone else has more experience with that. Though not native to Texas, I’ve seen it thrive as long as it’s got plenty of sun and isn’t overwatered. If you have a spot to put it in the ground, I would do that. I’d be shocked if it didn’t fare much better next summer.

How often do you water? The leaves are curling to reduce surface area and water evaporation.

It’s coming to the end of its seasonal bloom. Not sure if it will survive a winter freeze in that pot unless you plan to take it inside. I’d plant it in the ground this Fall.
