So I got this sad looking girl yesterday š© what can I do to help her~ her soil was super dry and I watered it from the bottom for about 20min and put it in a humidity box under a light but it has seriously gotten worse I think… Anyone have any suggestions to make her perk up? If appreciate any help at all.. I haven't repotted because I wasn't sure I should disturb and stress her worse but maybe I should see if it's a root problem?? I dont see any pests at all…. Is it too late??
Should I just try to propagate? š©šš I've been wanting one of these so I'm hoping I can help her but I'm being realistic with my expectations lol šš

I think no, but you can try
The plant looks fine to me? Some plants grow in the direction of light source. Maybe it did that and is leaning because of that. Looking at the roots is always good when you think your plant is sick tho so Iād do that. If the leaves are very bendable it usually needs water but if you recently watered then wait
I donāt think itās too late, maybe you should repot it very carefully
For sure you can save her. Iād repot her immediately into something more chunky and well draining. Get rid of any rotten bits. Then be patient. These things are dramatic but pretty resilient.
Follow some of the methods above, but you can definitely save her
Itās green, so you are good!
Looks strange huh? Itās just looking/stretching towards the light. You can either move it to a higher light area, or rotate it. Because it isnāt in the light, be careful of overwatering! Good luck!
Edit: want to piggyback off another commenter and agree to a bigger pot with the correct medium!
She. Fine. She’s just bent over probably trying to reach towards her previous light source. I’d repot carefully, not breaking up her root system, and maybe give her some support to stand up
Definitely not too late. She is leaning towards the sun turn her the other way.
I am FAR from an expert here, but I have one of these and I find she starts to bend towards the light pretty easily. Mine is a decent spot near a west facing window, but if I donāt rotate her she starts to bend just a bit. To me this looks like sheās been stretching towards light for a hot minute now.
Yeah the roots look very good, rotating your plants really does make a difference so like everyoneās saying itās probably crawling toward the sun.
If itās really really bugging you, you could try digging it up and reposition it upward in the dirt, but in terms of health your peperomia looks great
Repot it
Peperomias lean towards the light source and you can rotate the plant 45° every day to make it fuller; ime the fullness usually ends up showing in the new growth but the older growth will correct itself with time. Also, they do enjoy being bound but this one could use a size up.
Chunky soil, they like to dry out a little
No
Bigger pot, lots of good dirt. Canāt wait to see how it looks once it has a new home.
