I almost missed this house when driving past it because it was so overgrown. I barely caught it in the corner of my eye and had to turn around to investigate. There was a padlock on the front door and it looked obviously vacant. All of the neighbors lawns looked really nice, so I thought I would spend the day cleaning this one up to help it fit in. Luckily, I did get to talk to a neighbor off camera and he told me that nobody has lived here for a year and it’s only been cut one time by the city quite a while ago. I was also able to help them get some of the branches cut back that were growing over into their lawn.

Oh, this one is in rough shape. Oh, my gosh. I can’t even get to the front door. Oh, yeah, it’s got a padlock on the front door
and it actually looks like somebody tried to kick it in here. Yeah, this place is definitely vacant, and this yard is out of control. Hey everyone, Spencer here with SB Mowing, and I actually didn’t see this house
the very first time I drove past it. I turned right off the
main road down this street, and right after I passed it, I looked back and thought I may have
seen a sliver of something back in there. So I turned around and
hopped out of my truck, and lo and behold, there was a house behind
all of that overgrowth. So I started to explore a little bit, and the front door actually
had a padlock on it, and it looked like someone
tried to kick it in. It was pretty obviously vacant, so I thought I would go ahead and
just clean it up for the neighborhood. But about halfway through the job, I was able to talk to
a neighbor off camera, and they told me that no one’s
lived here for about a year, and it’s been crazy overgrown. It’s been cut one time by
the city quite a while ago, but since then, it has not been touched. Some of the trees right on the fence line
actually got super overgrown and have been growing over into the neighbor’s yard. So I trimmed those branches and limbs
up real quick for them so that they had a lot more space in their yard. Anyways,
I spent the entire day at this home, and at the very end, it looked like a
completely different house, so be sure to stay till the very
end of this video to see the awesome before and after pictures. If you haven’t done so yet, go down below for me and
click that subscribe button, as it’s really just the best way
to support this work that I do. But I hope you all really
enjoy this cleanup, and we’ll see you next Friday. SB Mowing out. All right, everybody,
we just finally got finished up. It is looking way better. The sunlight hits down in here. It’s so much better just
lighting up the place. It doesn’t look like an
abandoned home anymore, and some of the neighbors told me that
they would really love to buy the house, so hopefully they can get
in contact with the owner, the city, or whoever owns it and get it for
a pretty good price and keep it maintained and looking good. But I did get into a
little bit of poison ivy. was able to clear it out from this
spot because there wasn’t a ton but guys, this entire fence line right here is just covered in poison ivy. All this is poison ivy, so I’m not going to get into that. I’ve had some comments like, oh, why don’t you get a Hazmat
suit and clean it all up. Well, the reason for that is because I will still get a crazy poison ivy rash. I’ve been suffering from a rash
on my arms and my stomach for like three months straight now, and it,
it starts to go away and then I’ll barely even get into any poison ivy and it’ll just come back. But the backyard didn’t
need a lot of work. I got it mowed down, got the, the back patio cleared off. There was some poison ivy, as you can see,
in the door there still. I got some of the volunteer trees cut
out of here and as you guys can see, we’ve got all this poison
ivy along the house. So… I just can’t deal with that, guys. And it’s not going to make
that big of a difference, me kind of pulling it out or… cutting it out because it’s
just going to come right back. But anyways,
we are finished with this one. I just want to thank each and
every one of you for watching to the very end this video. I really, really appreciate your support, and I couldn’t do this type of work
without each and every one of you watching my videos and supporting me. So thank you so much for that. But if you did want to support
me just a little bit further, you can head over to sbmowing.com, pick yourself up an SB Mowing T shirt
and SB Mowing hat or any of my other awesome merchandise designs over there. Plus, you can pick up my red Maruyama
handheld equipment like my edger, my trimmer, and my blower. All the handheld equipment that you
see me use in every single video you can buy for yourself
over on my website. Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed this one and I
hope you have a great rest of your day, a great rest of your week,
and we’ll see you next Friday. SB Mowing out.

Leaves of 3, let them be ❤
Spencer, where did you get the gate/ramp on your pickup truck ?
I have been thinking a lot about this series and about lawns as an institution and given how lawns are deserts for wildlife, I don't know if I love the idea of going into an area and just completely wiping it out because you want to improve your vision of the aesthetic. What you're seeing with weeds and overgrowth here is nature taking this space back- letting plants grow that would help pollinators, small creatures who need shade, and encouraging native plants. I think it's a nice idea to clean a space up, but we've already done such irreparable harm to our ecosystems, does this really need to get done?
Doode, dust mask. When you get to my age, you're going to wish you would have worn one. After years of being a mechanic, I wish I would had.
Such a cute house… worth the clean up to see it.
What did you do with the brush
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
When you work a property such as this one with so many tree limbs, etc., what do you do with them? My city requires that they be tied in bundles no more than 4' long. Do you pile and leave them, or take them with you? Always been curious.
You should add a wood chipper to your machinery.
Would love to see all the haters commenting about you not pulling out the poison ivy and see them doing it themselves. 🙄 Some ppl are ridiculous
Great job!
Just watched 30 seconds of this video and I already love it
23:59 man those branches are evily bad cutted. Careful with that next time.

If I lived next to this, I WOULD know that you do: get off the couch and mow it.
👍🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳👍
I thought if you spray poison ivy with white vinegar and bacon soda mix it will kill poison ivy , spray the mix and the ivy won't bother you after an hour of spray.
Great job–and I don't blame you for avoiding the poison ivy. That stuff is no joke!
Good decision, your health first.
Good job
Spencer I was just wondering you should probably know can you get a spray or something that kills Poison Ivy House would like to know that from my own personal use.
Muy bien Spencer !!!! Saludos desde Argentina 🇦🇷 !!!!
I like trying to find the houses on Google maps. This one was an easy one.
If u want to cut a nice shrub that's in a right place, just leave 1 foot from the bottom and it will grow greener than ever before.

Wow. Yeah, that one was rough. Where do you put all the trees, tree limbs, and shrubs you cut down? Nice work.
If you want hire me, Spencer, please let me know. For whatever reason, I'm not allergic to poison ivy or poison oak. 🤷♂️
Magnifique travail ❤ c’est quoi le lierre Poison ? Et pourquoi Poison s’il vous plaît …?…🤷🏻♀️
Great job Spencer….
The only reason you need for not messing with poison ivy is because you don’t want to my guy love these videos they just itch something in my brain
🎉🎉🎉🎉
Why are a lot of these videos in fast forward? Some people may not be able to watch them may cause some to have health issues!
Do yourself a favor and skip the poison ivy and watch the trees, some have poison oak. And also sumac which is poison. Be careful pace yourself on hot days.
In your videos I see people talk to about these houses, it's odd most just watch it grow and don't offer to help keep it mowed, to help their neighbors
