The best plants in Grow a Garden are arguably the ones that will earn you plenty of money when it comes time to sell them for Sheckles to be able to buy more seeds and continue building your garden.
However, often the plants that sell for the most are the ones that will cost you the most too (look at the Cacao seed, it costs 2,500,000 Sheckles). So, it’s also worth knowing what the viable alternatives are to make enough money so you can eventually invest in the bigger and better plants. That’s where our Grow a Garden tier list comes in.

Grow a Garden plant tier list
Our plant tier list for Grow a Garden is based on the value of the crops they give you, how much the initial seed costs, whether they’re a single or multiple harvest crop and how the value of them increases if you get plant mutations. Now, this is based on our experience with the game, so you may not agree with our tier list based on your own experiences.
Just because a plant has been placed in a lower tier doesn’t mean it’s worthless – in fact these earlier, cheaper plants are crucical for building a foundation and earning Sheckles to be able to buy the higher tier ones. Also, some plants featured here are part of limited-time events and may no longer be available.
The Summer update has brought a whole host of new seeds to the Seed Shop, with some of them making an appearance in the S tier.
