I have a client with a greenhouse that doesn’t get nearly enough sun. It’s a lean-to roof and it faces the wrong way relative to the sun. plus the roof supports are so thick they create a lot of shadow. I’m wondering how viable it is to put some reflective material, like aluminum flashing or something up on these roof supports to help reflect more like towards the plants. Thoughts?

Painting the black supports white is going to get the most light added for the least uglyness. Maybe trim the trees a bit to increase the morning light.

Those thick beams have plenty of room to install grow lights which is probably a better use of time and money.
