Please give me advice, it's my first time getting them. I noticed they're attached to the wood with hot glue, should I remove them? I received two of them detached, but I'm not sure if they're okay. Also, where should I keep them? And how much water do they need?

Congrats on your first air plants- they look nice! Sometimes people do glue plants to wood. In this case you should spray the plants with filtered or (preferably) RO water if possible. I prefer to tie my plants using fishing wire to things and around once a week soak them in RO water for 30 min.

I would suggest removing them. Air plants need to be soaked not just mist here and there and it’s hard to do that attached to wood. I attach mine to things by using floral wire but never glue. You soak them once a week and then maybe mist one to two times in between soaks depending on how dry your environment is and they should be fine. The water doesn’t need to be anything special it just can’t be chlorinated. Some people leave tap water out for a day before using it but that doesn’t work for chloramines so you may want to check if your region has that or not for that method. What I do is I get tap water and put in a drop of fish tank water conditioner and I don’t have a problem. My plants are all thriving. It’s the fastest method for using tap water for me.
