Can anyone help me identify if this is a flower from mother plant or a pup? If it is a pup tips on propagating would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    Echeveria “Dick’s Pink”…

Flowers don’t seem to result in viable seeds – may be a polyploid. Anyway, I have had success this way. As it grows it sheds leaves. It actually looks like a palm tree near the end! At some point that you wish (maybe when it’s like 8-10” of bare trunk) cut off the leafy top. Using rooting hormone dip the top cut end into hormone and let it dry overnight. Next day pot up in damp coarse sand with a plastic bag over it in strong light-
No sun. It will quickly grow roots and in a few weeks can be potted into regular cactus mix and put into the sun. NOW comes the fun. Keep the old cut-off stump in the sun or wherever you were growing it before. Soon many tiny sprouts will emerge from the trunk at the old leaf scars. Let these grow until they are 1-2” or so, then sever with a razor and apply rooting hormone and plant just as you did the top. They will all root quickly. You may get 10-20 such sprouts and more may come. Soon you will have more of these guys than you know what to do!
