You’ll get higher scores on the lawn care subreddit than here, personally I hate manicured monoculture lawns so I won’t tell you my score as I don’t want to insult you 🙂

  2. That’s a solid 9/10 -super green, neatly cut, and no bald patches. Only thing keeping it from a perfect 10 is that it looks almost too good, like a stock photo lawn.

  3. ScratchFamous6855

    That’s a solid 10/10.

Not too long, not too short, perfectly level and no patchiness. Bravo

Oh come on …. Lawns have been decimated this summer all over due to lack of water and hosepipe bans … looks like you’ve been able to water or live in a wet area ..!!

  5. Lenimion

Really nice 8/10 though i will say this sub seems to hate lawns for a whole heap of reasons most of which are stupid.

  6. Rufus_T_Firefly2

It looks really well, but there’s always somebody waiting in the high grass to criticise it..

  7. Vegetable-Finger-753

Its a solid 6 out of 10. 10 being Daniel Hibbert (see youtube).

  8. Solid-Home8150

I know how scores out of ten work buddy! 10/10

  9. SoggyWotsits

It looks great! I appreciate a nice lawn, even though many here don’t.

  10. That’s a lovely lawn, and you’ve got plenty of variety there too so the “no-lawns” crowd can get in the bin.

    Edit

Lol, how dare I challenge a pack of bullies on the internet.

Hopefully ours here looks like that next year. This year hardly any rain early in the year, heat waves galore has resulted in a dry patchy looking lawn for me.
Gave it a good aerate today, overseed, feed. So hopefully it will grow better next year, hopefully with decent rainfall when we expect it and not so many heatwaves early on. Think we got really high temps in April,May onwards that really didn’t help things.

    Come
On ! You know you have a supermodel
    Lawn

  13. Illustrious_Buddy_16

It looks great, a 10 from me

Out of interest were the pictures taken on a Google pixel?

  14. sequentialogic

7/10. Where is the clover and daisies?

  15. trulycantbearsed

I’m giving 9 (even though it’s a solid10), because you haven’t made a list of how to achieve this holy grail tier of lawn maintenance:/

  16. MumMomWhatever

9/10. Losing a mark because you haven’t mown it to suggest a tartan, concentric circles, or the face of King Charles rendered in grass.

  17. Harry_T100

I wish my lawn was as good as this. No rain all summer

  18. pocketpebbles

It’s a very smart lawn but I personally don’t really care about lawns. Plants and ponds are where it’s at for me.

I upvoted it though because it is a very very smart lawn.

  19. No dogs i assume. I try, i really try. I keep a lawn so i can throw frisbee. If i had my choice it’d be all flower beds

  20. Dry_Researcher7744

    Phwoar! That’s a 10/10 cultivation you’ve got going there.

  21. I can’t believe you’re asking for lawn feedback when the rest of your garden is so nice haha. Lawn is 7/10 – looks great but doesn’t seem 100% full, could do with an overseed and topsoil layer in autumn but looks great otherwise.

Rest of your garden 10/10 – love it!

  22. chaosandturmoil

that’s either a very large plastic lawn or you fed turf well?

  23. NaniFarRoad

Depends what your aims were. If you wanted a showcase lawn, I’d say it’s probably a 6? (no stripes, cropped too high, uneven edges to borders). But if you want a lawn that’s good/safe for kids to play on, this is probably a 9/10 (soft and thick, clear from overhanging spikey plants, still enough borders/tall grass to satisfy bugs).

  24. PersistentWorld

It’s a rather dull large patch of very green grass.

  25. FangPolygon

How have you eliminated all moss, dandelion, clover etc?

  26. Slight-Pen9588

You can do mine next! *Cheeky chappy old man chuckle*

  27. MorningToast

Looks decent. You need to sharpen the blades on your mower, they’re ripping the grass tops off rather than cutting.

  28. Christina3534

Looks great, I’d be thrilled if I had that lawn and the nice trees etc. 10/10!

  29. Logical-Track1405

Have you scarified it andcreseeded it early in the year – looks fabulous.
Thinking of scarifying mine next spring 🤔
