I have a shit ton of these little guys. I saw somewhere that these are pests and that they eliminate all of the cool bacteria that used to swim all around. If it is a problem, whats the best way to cut back on em? Which fish can live in a small 2 gallon enclosure and eats these guys?

These are aquatic isopods!! I’d love some of these. DM if you’d think of selling them.

They are not a problem, they are harmless and will eat detritus, decaying plant material and mulm. Actually helpful little guys

There are no pests in the ecosphere world. Everything has a vital function and these guys eat dead and decaying stuff, since there is a lot to clean up.

What I’m not seeing are any vital plants. Are there any in there or just algae and decay?

No fish is suitable for a self-sustaining ecosphere.
