If you grew something new this year, what is your favorite(s)? Mine are the yellow Sart Roloise (bright, with lemon profile, tart) and Carbon (fleshy, earthy, non acidic).

I'm still on the fence with the black strawberry I posted a couple of weeks ago. It does have a fruity profile tho.

  1. Gold Medal are new to me. Very large highly and productive with a very sweet low acidic taste, super smooth flesh. They are an old German variety which look similar to Pineapple tomatoes but are better tasting in my opinion.

Sweet aperitif. Small cherry tomato. These guys are super sweet, but not overly so like Sungold, which for me is a little too syrupy! These guys have a lovely tang. But they are incredibly productive and do not suffer from splitting, which has been a massive benefit in what was a very wet summer for us. Highly recommended

  2. I like my black beauty tomatoes but I’m waiting for my Amish paste to come in

Lovely! We are finally getting some ripe orange moon glow ones in, and we have Cherokee purple heirlooms that look just like yours! Tasty very sweet not acidic at all

  5. Pork chop is a new favorite. My project of growing a different yellow every year until I find one that doesn’t suck is over.
