My grandma has a beautiful weeping mulberry tree and I wanted one to plant in my yard because of all the great memories of mulberry pies and muffins. In July, when the berries were most ripe, I took a few and just stuck them in some dirt and left it under my grow light for a few weeks. Eventually it went outside because of fruit flies gathering but it continued to grow and was bright green. I think it wilted away at some point and went back inside until it was better. It’s now about two(?) inches tall and outside but now it has started to wilt. Any advice? The pot it was in before didn’t have drainage, but this is the same type of pot just with cracks through the bottom. Is that enough drainage? If it is, how can I help it get better faster? Does it have nothing to do with the drainage? Maybe too much or too little sunlight? The sporadic Ohio weather?
I mostly water it just to maintain moist soil, maybe a bit more moist than in the photo included.

Please move it to a tiny pot. Put it indoors and next to a window. No matter how much drainage a big pot has, for a tiny plant like this the roots will rot.
