Love the pic of all that peat-moss. It’s the best for top dressing

Please tell me you have a peat moss spreader, good luck

If you’re in MN, will you come do my lawn, too? 😁😁 Kidding. But, be sure to take progress pics. Would love to see the end result.

Would this be a good seed in a transition zone in middle TN?

Rented the Classen on Saturday and it was as real pain in the ass

  6. Did you nuke your lawn? If it looks like that all the time, you’ve got your work cut out for you in terms of nutrients, compaction, water, and/or sunlight even with the new seed.

That’s a lot of cashola in peat moss bags. Peat moss will pretty much guarantee quick germination… But I personally don’t think it’s worth the money. But if money ain’t an option …then send it

I just did mine. Doing the pete moss and spreader will add up on back – at least for me. Thank God it’s the last step.

If you don’t have, suggest a cart like gorilla and a short hand shovel. Make it easy to follower the spreader.

How many times do you have to throw seed down on healthy lawns?

Great seed choice, but that peat moss is a bad idea….

Peat s unique in that it not only does is suck water up, it also releases that moisture into the air faster. So you have to legit over-soak the stuff, then it just evaporates fast, causing it to then pull water from the seed.

It’s overly acidic as well…And did you check for compaction, or just doing it because everyone likes to do it every year?….

doing the same with the same seed. Been doing the same steps and tossing seed down today

Just used same seed for first time. Rented an aerator on Saturday, thing beat the heck out of me. Very excited about the Twin City.
