I'm moving this into a smaller pot. I planted this in another state. I brought it back with me to care for.

I recall that there were more roots when I planted it. I see tiny white roots emerging.

I'm putting it into a better draining soil. I used straight cactus/ succulent soil and didn't seem the best.

    Looks healthy. Put it in well draining soil and let it consume a few lower leaves first to grow roots. Then deep water once you know the soil is 100% dry.

    blast off all the old substrate. remove rotted roots and tissue that remains. water in 2-4 days. then again when the substrate is completely dry. after that water when the bottom couple leaves start to wrinkle
