We planted this frangipani about 9 months ago, had leaves but no flowers last summer, was dormant during winter where we've had lots of rain here in Sydney.

I was hoping to start seeing blooms starting to shoot through but instead it looks like the ends of my branches have rotted? It gets plenty of sun ( when weather is good obviously). I've never seen this on any of my other frangis before, how do I best treat this?

Hopefully it can still flower this summer!

I think it’s started to grow new leaves and branches

Sometimes a whole little stalks appear and they’ll eventually flower

Have you given it any fertiliser?

  2. Does it feel hollow when you touch it ?
I’m in nsw mid north coast and mine is just starting to wake up now, I can see new leaves are starting to come

Looks like black tip rot. If you cut it off 2-3 new tips will grow. Copper spray to treat new tips as a preventative.
