Hi I have a new native garden, gets full sun all day, it was planted at the end of summer and everything is growing but extremely slowly, the soil mix was a native mix but it’s quite sandy and it doesn’t seem very “alive” my question is can I or should I be using compost or manure to give the soil more nutrients?
I have proteas( I know not native to Aus) , grevilleas, kangaroo paw (seems to grow like crazy), wooly bush, banksias, acacia and some ground covers.
I’m in Perth btw 🙂
