Hi everyone. Welcome to my channel, Nam Bloom. I’m a Londonbased plant content creator. Well, that’s the plan. So, today I’m going to give you a tour of my outdoor and my indoor plants outdoor this summer. So, I’ve just seen some tomato plants, which look really sad, but we’ll fix that. Um, yeah. So, this summer I’ve really focused on edible gardening. So, I’m going to give you a little tour. We’ll start off with my apple tree, which I’ve had for 10 years, and she’s bearing she was only supposed to be a dwarf, and now she’s she’s tall. She’s really tall. We’re going to pick some apples and I’ll give you a tour and show you around. So, come this way. So, yes, look at all these apples. Um, I would I’m not even going to pretend to spice. I’m going to let this apples unless I cook them. There’s still so many more apples to pick and so many on the floor. But um yeah, I’ll do that another time. Okay. I’ll bring you inside. Okay. So, my sweet corn. Wait, not sweet. Yeah, it’s my sweet corn. I’ve had them since they were think ye. My granddad started them off as seeds. This is what I’m talking about. The weeds. Let me Let’s just not even start. And now they’re up to my up to I’m tall. I’m 5’7. They’re up to my hip. My belly button. Is that That’s past my hip. Really exciting. They’ve got tassels. This one’s got a tassel. This one’s got a tassel. Tassel me, baby. Oh my gosh. They are blowing so much. And when I say that that they’re leaning back, might have to get st them soon. This one’s got a tassel. Look at it. Tassel. Tassel. Tassel. Anyone else? So, behind me is my little veggie veggie station, veggie table. My granddad also started all of the all of these off. They were yay high and I thought, you know, let me get some gray bags because I was going to put them in the soil, but the soil in my garden is so rocky. So, I planted the corn directly into the soil and that that took I had blisters on my hands. I’ll show you what the hole looked like. It was It was terrible. The hole I dug in the ground. Rocks this big. Oh, forget it. Forget about it. So, I wasn’t doing that with the tomatoes. So, we’ve got tomatoes. We have cucumber. Let me show you them. Okay, these are tumbling. Sorry. Tumbling Tom Red. And look, you can see I’m so excited. Look at all these tomatoes. I’ve never grown vegetables before. Well, I have years and years ago. Um, but I’m really excited. I’ve got these fly catchers which are really gross cuz they’re like full of flies, so they’re doing their job, but they need to be changed. But yeah, as you can see, the leaves are a bit droopy. I haven’t been home for a few days. Just got back. Well, no, I came back from holiday and then I was away again and the leaves are Yeah. So, my phone decided to die. My battery died. So, let me just give you some shots of the plants I’m growing or the veggies. We have some chilies here. Can you see the flowers? They’re starting to drop off. And the chilies will grow down. We have cucumber. Look at the little little cucumber. I only see one. More tomatoes. They’re going to have a good watering tonight. so they can perk up and hopefully they do. They just look they look a little bit thirsty if you know what I mean. Um, but I’m so happy. I’m so excited everyone. Like this is the first time I’m growing veggies successfully and I can’t wait just to eat from my hard work. Anyway, let’s go inside and take a look around. Welcome. Welcome to the VIP indoor plant room edition. I have lots of regular regular plants dotted around the place. I got that tip from the millennial plant dad. Just adds pops of color and yeah, it fills the space. This is a piece from the mother plant behind it. Yeah. Did you hear that sigh? That is a sight of your girl who has an on and off again relationship with this plant. She is a drama queen. She springs back quickly, but she likes to unal alive herself really or just as quickly too. Yeah, I was so close to throwing my alakisha fried varata onto the grass or in the compost bin which is behind the tree. But since I switched to the semihydro, she’s perked up because when I came back from my traveling, she she she was all brown and wilted and I had to chop her. I had to chop her all. But now she’s Yeah, she seems to be liking the setup. I have my monstera ban bana here. Yeah, she’s a trooper. very hardy and grows really quickly as well. I have lots of spider plants started around. I’ve been gifting this is one of the pups. The mother plant is uh elsewhere, but I just keep cutting it and cutting it and giving it to people. She loves this setup. Literally no fuss. A bit of um fertilizer in and you’re good to go. Mwah. I love you. I love this plant. My monstera dio dissiosa Thai constellation. I know everyone well lots of people they’re like, “Oh, I’m so over it. Why do you want that plant?” I’ve always wanted it. So, I spent some coins, guys. And I and I got it. She had two leaves. Two leaves for £30. I was do you know I actually couldn’t I didn’t mind but yeah she’s in regular soil no orchid bark like I’m over it I’m really over it it’s either normal compost with fertilizer or some rehydro I have this plant it’s an elephant ear a all alisha I believe but yeah she is from the roadside not the roadside in London didn’t because that would be grim as hell. She’s from the roadside of Croatia. So, I just pulled her out and took her back with me and she’s doing fine. She Yeah, she’s really happy. Once a new leaf comes, I’ll cut that damaged leaf. Here I have my ZZ plant. Z to the Z. That’s Zamocus. Zam, what is it? Zami Zamifogia. I think this is also from the roadside of Croatia. And I was like, “Oh, she’s going to grow so fast.” And I didn’t know she grows so slowly. So, I will be buying a larger plant. I do love this plant. This is also This is from IKEA. I got it when it was small. Came back and I was like, “What the actual freak? She’s taking over the room.” But I was so excited. She’s got her she’s had her first fenistrations in this leaf in the green one. I just love when new leaves come and they’re so light green and juicy and soft. I just want to gobble them up. FYI, that is not a true moss pole. Amazon. So yeah, stay tuned cuz we’re going to make our own moss pole. So this can climb and I’ll separate it at some point too. I look at my bird of paradise, my bop, and I just smile. I repotted her a few months ago, and she is literally the definition of Naomi and Bloom. She is living her best life and she’s grown so tall and she’s got so heavy. I kind of want to repot her again, but I know your thoughts. Like, probably don’t need to. She’s happy, but I just want her to get huge. Like huge. I want to have to have two people carrying her. Heat. Heat. It is warm in here. Let’s check that humidity. Ah, 70%. Yeah, it’s time to go and grab a drink. Don’t forget to like and share and click that subscribe button. Thank you for watching.
