I thank you for another great cleaning and organizing video…guess what I'm doing cleaning and organizing an area I know I've been needing to organize for a while now. Thank you always for the motivation…it works every time! 😂🙌🏾🎉
Thank you for the recap. It is always a pleasure and extra bonus video! Regarding the question about ornamental grasses, you probably know this or may be different in your area but you may be careful on what you plant. I have two types of grasses. One is a maiden hair type grass and the other is what is called Zebra grass. Both are beautiful but you want to have lots of room where you plant them and never want to remove them, at least in Northern Kentucky. I am currently trying to kill two of these grasses for they are so large and the zebra grass is sending off roots and starters in areas that it was not planted. They are very difficult to dig out too. So I am using Roundup in hopes it kills both and then I can eventually plant other plants in their place! We are always critical about ourselves. However, you are so natural Laura and being yourself. We love you and don't want you to change a thing! I am always trying to figure out the lay of the land in your videos, so looking forward to a new aerial video of your property! You would think I would by now as many years I have been watching your videos, but I get twisted around at times. Just a fun thing to do when watching!💚
On the question about the names of your property areas; was that an accident when you highlighted the dirt land, or have you purchased the property to the left of the Dirt Lands?
I sometimes wonder if it’s the same people who say, “Are you kidding me! I can’t believe you filmed this!” are the same people who also complain that you “only film your successes & not your failures”. It originally surprised me because the video they made that comment on, you actually showed a problem that you fixed 🤦🏼♀️. You can’t please everyone but your channel sure makes so many of us happy & inspires us to garden 🥰
Love your videos your inspiration gets me off the couch! Question I need advice I on growing some potatoes in my grow bags but they are so tiny Did I miss some kind of fertilizer that I can get in Canada? It was on the south side of our house!
We will watch Laura do anything! Cooking, cleaning, canning, planting , antique shopping, Andrew’s tours and so on! Love you guys and your content! Love your whole family and please keep up the great work! ❌❌‼️
Thank you Aaron and Laura! 🎤🧔🏻♂️🎙️👩🏻💻🥤 always enjoy your conversations! Question: Has the property value of the homes bordering your property skyrocketed? i would imagine living next you would be a great selling point. 😉
The cleaning video was so satisfying for me. It is fun to see that someone else has a space that gets away from them. Laura is such a type A personality and I love it. That is why her garden is so beautiful.
Ugh …. Pompass grass!!! Very invasive!! I live in an area where it’s amended every season…. Sometimes twice a year by the environmental companies. Also they do control burns.
I LOVE the reality of what you guys film. I tend to put off watching the "pretty" vides–I have to be in the right mood. But the videos that are just like a day in the life I could watch forever. Like work at home, it's not always pretty. Some days you are touring pretty flower beds, and some days you are cleaning up dead mice (or vacuuming dead spiders, hopefully dead spiders)!
The garden shed glow up inspired me to edge all my beds that day after work….which led to me extending out all 200ft of garden bed by 3-4ft down the entire length of it and it ended up taking me 3 days after work until it got dark out. Then I watched it again and it inspired me to dig garden beds down the entire length of my front yard and plant it all up with 4 different types of evergreens, 2 trees & a few dozen perennials. My mind, heart & soul think you're a fantastic influence, my body & bank account don't agree😂
I love your recaps, and I am so glad you do these. I like all your videos and don't understand people who complain about a cleaning video. It shows real live and I feel better knowing I am not the only one who has areas that have to have a deep clean. Have a blessed day everyone.
I think you need a 2nd Gate at the start of the maple line. Then the straightaway could be your private drive and the left or right lanes could be the service drives for contractors, etc. 🙂
Sunday is wonderful because I get to watch the Recap. As one of the most accomplished people I know, you are modest and self deprecating, which makes the recap so much fun. Every video I learn something else about you. My favorite video of the week was the transformation of the flower shed. It's so magnifique that I find it difficult to use the word shed to describe it. Have a good Labor Day!🤗🌻🌄
I remember one summer, my sister was wearing shorts. Our Tom cat sprayed her legs! She was jumping around, screaming, and I thought it was the funniest thing I ever saw…of course, I was only about 6 yrs old. 😁
Being retired, I sometimes lose track of time, until there’s no Garden Answer! Ok it must be Saturday hehe😂 Love watching your videos and I have learnt so much. Thanks😀
Hi, Laura and Aaron. I love your channel and have learned so much from your videos. How soon after planting a tree would it be ok to put in annuals under it?
Regarding watering in the high tunnels, I wonder if you could set the plant cans in low sided trays and fill those with water. Then uncork a hole you’ve drilled to let the water out after a while. That could cut down on time and overhead watering. Is Cheddar still with Bethany? I love that cat!
Ahhhh Cheddar!! Yay, and now I know. I missed when he left and wanted to ask, but thought in another video Benjamin was saying Paul buried something and well with all that in my mind this is how humors are started. Hahaha! All this time Cheddar is living his life at Bethany’s. 😂
Love the channel! My question is what company are you using for installing your flag stone walk ways ? I live about 45 minutes from you and I really appreciate great craftsmanship and it looks like they are doing a fantastic job and would love to contact them. I am also in contact with Chris from green source landscaping and he is currently working with coming up with a
Might I suggest using a creeping thyme in the formal garden area. This would give you a very low ground cover and also a wonderful scent to mix with the lavender. You would still enjoy that restful feeling of negative space. A longtime follower who watches daily❤
talking about chesterfield chairs, my in laws named their son Chester Fields and the name served him well being an artist. A name you don't forget ha ha
I just had a greenhouse installed. It is 10’x8’. Love it but now I’m wondering if I have a raised bed in it, could I grow cool weather crops in it during the fall? I’m researching a solar heater for the winter to keep my lemon (small) trees, (reachable)apple trees and avocado tree in it. Learning so much and am hoping to really get as much use of it all year long.

Which shears do you find yourself using more? I don't know which to order.
Great recap

Hahaha Aaron! “Those F-ing cats!!!” That killed me. 😂BTW where’s Cheddar lol

How about a low growing ground cover in the formal garden areas.
Your hair cut looks great!
I helped my brother expand a flower bed a couple of weeks ago. Scraping off the grass is WORK!

All this time I thought Cheddar passed away!
Great week so much accomplished and loved the harvest update. That fruit looks sooo delish!

I’m in for a butler’s pantry re-org/clean out! ❤️😊

With a design for your pond. I'm learning a lot from your channel. Keep up with the great work.

🙈 I was the one that asked about cheddar. I completely missed the memo 😂😂😂

Hi 👋 Laura and Aaron
talking about chesterfield chairs, my in laws named their son Chester Fields and the name served him well being an artist. A name you don't forget ha ha
nooooo don't do the horse chestnuts…. see if you can get your hands on an American Chestnut…they are working on bringing them back.
I have an orbit brand fabric hose from Costco that has lasted 2 years!
Your hair looks cute 🥰 x
I loved that you filmed the deep clean of the studio! I guess I’m crazy, but cleaning makes me happy, especially afterwards. You guys are amazing!!!!!
I love these recap videos.❤ Y’all are so real😊😊
