So in this weeks yard makeover, I was driving past this property and had noticed a massive rose bush that was growing into the neighbors front yard, it was so tall and was growing like crazy! The front garden bed had lots of piles of dead leaves and all the garden beds had weeds growing all throughout them. The plants and bushes at this place needed a prune back and a clean up too. The lawn was being overtaken by weeds and all of the paths had been grown over by weeds and lawn.

So I stopped my ute and knocked on the front door to see if the owner was home. She indeed was home, and told me that she was very grateful for my free service, she offered to pay money as she said she felt guilty but I eventually convinced her that it was no big deal at all and I would be more than happy to help her out. I even gave her a big suprise after I was done weeding and pruning everything back.

Hey everyone and welcome back to this
weeks Garden Transformation video I hope you’re all having an amazing weekend and if you are new to the channel I’m so glad that you found your way here you’re going
to have a great time trust me This channel is all about going around my community and helping people out with their neglected gardens and so this weeks property I was driving around and
the first thing that I saw were these garden beds that were out the front They just had piles of dead leaves and there were also a lot of weeds growing throughout
all the garden beds at this property There were Oxalis weeds which were growing everywhere They were growing through the Agapanthus growing all throughout the lawn Half of the lawn was being taken over by this stuff So we had to try and bring the oxalis back as far as we could so that the lawn can out compete this stuff and then upon further inspection of this property You could see that a lot of things needed to be done here So all of the Agapanthus at this place needed to be cleaned There were lots of dead flowers and a lot of dead leaves
that were just hanging off them They all had to have a massive clean As I said all of the garden beds at this place just had weeds and lawn growing throughout all of it You could not see the edging anymore which separated
the lawn from the garden beds but we have completely uncovered that again But also throughout the garden beds were these stinging nettles If you touch these things they become itchy and stingy for hours So we got rid of all of those as well But then one of the biggest things at this place which you could
see when you were driving past was this massive Rose bush This rose bush was just creeping into the neighbors
yard as well It was going absolutely crazy So I decided to stop my Ute and knock on the front door
and see if the home owner was home And she was I told her that I would do everything for free and she
king of couldn’t believe it She wanted to pay me for everything but obviously this is a free service so we’re not going to charge her anything I’ve also surprised her with something at the end of the video and I have de weeded everything and pruned everything back We have gone and done something pretty massive here

which is the door knock For some reason my microphone decided it wanted to stop
working very well halfway through doing a door knock But I’m sure you’re going to enjoy this video anyway guys So sit back relax Grab a coffee grab a wine grab a water
whatever’s your preference and enjoy the video Hey Hi how you going? Yea good thanks I was just driving past and I noticed your front yard was a little bit overgrown and needed a little bit of love I think I actually do a free gardening service one a week I’d feel guilty doing that I do it once a week No no no it’s completely for free are you sure? Yea I can help you yea You can just let me know whatever you want done we can just go from there So these guys are called Nandinas you may have seen them before in my videos They go a beautiful red color But we’re just bringing them back to the edging of the lawn and lowering them all to the same height Alright so now that the front half of this yard is all cleared We’ve gotten rid of all the weeds
we’ve trimmed back the nandinas We’ve cleared the Daffodils We’ve cleared the Agapanthus
of all of the dead leaves and all the dead flowers now we make our way to the lawn so as you can probably see that this lawn is being completely
taken over by Oxalis which you see in a lot of my other videos So we have to bring this down so that the lawn can out compete this stuff So we’re going to bring it down to the same level as the lawn Sometimes it looks like I do it quite low but this is what has to happen
with this stuff So whipper snipping it is the best option because
the mower doesn’t get low enough Alright so my plan of attack with these garden beds is to just hand weed around all of the significant plants
that we don’t want to get rid of or kill Like these guys here these are called Sweet Alyssums They have really pretty flowers So I’m just going to hand weed around all of these and then
we’re going to whipper snipper the rest and bring it back down and then we’ve got a bit of a surprise for afterwards to put on
top of everything

    You do such a complete and beautiful job. Best I've ever seen. By the way in America they attach gas meters to the house in an inconspicuous place about a foot off the ground.

    Gas meters in New York are attached to the house or in the apartment building. I originally thought the plastic box with the small opening was a shelter for stray cats. Silly me!

    So manicured & well-defined! GORGEOUS. Everything looks deliberate & expensive. I think we’ve outgrown the wild, anything goes, “natural” look. It’s always chaotic & messy. These gardens have the brickwork, show it off! I forgive you for trimming that red shrub in the PEAK of its glory. The result you achieved is outstanding. Really nice. NEW SUB!
