How to unlock Friendship Seeds in Grow a Garden

Friendship Seeds in Grow a Garden were added as part of the Fairy update, and they give you another reason to whip up delicious cooking recipes.

Sam works up quite the appetite while working at the seed shop in Grow a Garden, and being generous enough to share your cooking can give you access to better (and rarer) seeds.

How to unlock Friendship Seeds in Grow a Garden

To unlock Friendship Seeds in Grow a Garden you need to reach the first friendship level with Sam at the Seed Stall.

You can increase your friendship level with Sam by feeding this NPC. To do this you need to cook recipes and give them to Sam to consume, but be mindful with which recipes you hand over as Sam can only be fed once every 24 hours.

To unlock Friendship Seeds you need to reach 15 friendship points with Sam. The higher the rarity of food/recipe you give to Sam, the more friendship points you’ll get:

Common – 1 Point
Uncommon – 2 Points
Rare – 3 Points
Legendary – 4 Points
Mythical – 5 Points
Divine – 6 Points
Prismatic – 7 Points
Transcendent – 8 Points

You can’t see your current friendship level with Sam unless you’re holding food, so if you want to check your progress make sure you’re holding food while approaching the Seed Shop.
