I first tried this method a few years ago when I had about 60 superbum and muraski leaves i removed. Id say 90% of them thrived. When i have alot of the same leaves to prop, this is my go to method to utilize space and get good lighting. I usually plant them at thid point but I think im going to leave them and see how they do in comparison to any substrate. There's plump leaves formed as it is so they have what they need. Yup…im going to leave them.

Thanks for posting this. I’ve seen it shown before and I’ve been very curious about trying it myself.
Where do you have them hung up? Looks like perhaps in a cabinet? How humid is it around them?
They look super happy, nice work!

Do you mist them or just let ‘em hang?

Amazing progress! Did you sterilize the wire in any way before jabbing them?

When I did this, I think I made the grave mistake of not sterilizing my needle and thread, as a little under half of them rotted before I finally decided to remove the rest and prop them normally 😢

I need to try this! How do you make it so the wire doesn’t contaminate the leaves?

But why? When you can just lay them down and get the same results
