I keep topping this guy, and it keeps shooting up tall and skinny (6.5-7 feet from soil to top each time I top it). I did manage to get it to branch out, so now there's 3 total, but is there any way to get it to grow its leaves bigger or get "bushier?" Or is this just the variety it is? Also, it must be a regular FLF since it keeps growing up into the ceiling, right? I'm finding conflicting information on how to tell what kind it is, but the leaves are thick, stiff, and barely bigger than my hand. Thanks for any info or help! (Oh, the little blue pot to the right in the photo is the top I just removed a week ago)

This is a bambino variety so it will only ever produce compact leaves. If you want it bushier, then prune the two taller branches to about the height of that third branch!
Are you fertilizing
Most people don’t realize how important it is to fertilize potted plants as they do not get nutrients since they aren’t in the earth. I fertilize weekly during spring and summer once a month fall and winter. I also add silica to that as well. Hope this helps
Yes, this is a bambino! I have one that recently passed 6ft and I also saw that they can only reach 5ft so I was curious what is the top? Yours looks just like mine, a little de Seuss looking if you ask me!
