SYRACUSE, N.Y. — For Syracuse fans, game day is about more than just the game; it’s about finding the perfect place to cheer on their team. Harvey’s Garden was packed with fans eager to meet friends, grab drinks, and get a good view of the game.

The choice to go to at Harvey’s comes down to the overall vibe said Seth Lagerhausen,

“Just the atmosphere, I guess. It’s really fun and energetic. The drink selection is really great so what’s not to love.”

The venue’s pet-friendly policy also drew fans like Christina Freeman, who brought her dog, Tater Tot.

Freeman said, “Because I can bring my dog and I knew there would be a lot of SU fans which is the best.”

Local vendors, such as “Who Wants Smoke Catering,” were busy serving fans. Robert Betsey, a worker at the catering company, said, “Football games bring out the neighborhood, so we get a lot of business with customers. We get to engage with the customers and see them interacting and enjoying the food.”

Joseph Alvarado, a bartender at Harvey’s Garden, highlighted their support for other local vendors saying,

“They are always helping underprivileged kids around the area so businesses like that we always love to have come in and try to help them out as much as they help us.”

Harvey’s Garden remains an integral part of fans’ game day celebrations, supporting both the community and local businesses.
