I got this euphorbia from my roommate after she moved away. When she was taking care of/for the first half the summer I took over it was very healthy, had all of its leaves, etc. About a month ago (in July) one of my new roommates knocked it off the window ledge it was sitting on, and the top kind of snapped off (last three pics). Since then all the leaves have fallen off and the top has kind of scabbed over (first two pics).

I think it needs to be repotted anyways, but any other advice on how to get this guy healthy again?

It will most likely send up several new branches in the area where the top is broken. If you think it needs a repot, that probably won’t hurt. It’s pretty tall and the pot is smallish. A bigger, heavier pot will keep it from getting toppled over and getting more damage. The leaves of this particular species tend to drop off during dry times or when the plant has been stressed. Repot it in some nice gritty soil. Water it when the soil is dry. The leaves will grow back. Sometimes it takes months but they eventually will.
