Need to ID this, in Kansas City, MO. It is in my neighbors yard, but the fruits occasionally drop into ours (with dogs). The past few years we thought this was a crabapple, but the fruits are much larger this year, about the size of a baseball. You can see the fruits weighing down a bunch of the small branches.

This year I thought maybe pear, but they don’t have the bell shape I am used to, more fat in the middle. The spots on the fruit make it somewhat rough.

    thats what real pear looks like. eat them. pls. i miss my pepas pear trees
