How to Get the Toxic Mutation in Grow a Garden
The Toxic Mutation is exclusive to the Cockatrice pet. It has an ability where every 10 minutes, it spits out venom at 5 different fruits, eggs, and/or pets. If this venom hits a fruit, it’ll receive the Toxic Mutation. Unfortunately, the only way to get the Cockatrice pet is from an Enchanted Egg where it has a 1% chance of appearing.
Adding on top of that, you’ll also need to participate in the Fairy Event to get an Enchanted Egg as well. This can make it a little tough to get one even before you get to that 1% chance.
What Does the Toxic Mutation Do?
Like all mutations, Toxic adds a value multiplier to your crops. In this case, Toxic increases your profits by 15x the standard amount for each mutated crop. In addition to this, it’s part of the combination required to create the much more valuable Corrosive Mutation.
