Been a long time lurker and I thought I'd share what this sub has done for me.
In the spring I cut the grass low, dethatched, and aerated. I tried out Striped Grass Seeds for the first time, used about two bags. Put down a half-inch layer of two-way mix topsoil and added Scott’s Starter Fertilizer. Used a leveling rake to pack it all in and then kept it watered three times a week, mornings and afternoons.
