The Stormcharged Mutation was added to Grow a Garden on August 30, 2025, before the Fairy Event update. It’s a mutation that requires combining three different ones to make it, so here’s everything you need to know about it. Such as how to get it and what it does!

How to Get the Stormcharged Mutation in Grow a Garden

Before you can get the Stormcharged Mutation, you’ll need to know how to get the Shocked, Static, and Maelstrom Mutations. This is because you have to combine these three on a crop in your garden to make the Stormcharged mutation. Here’s everything you need to know about getting them:

There are two ways to get the Shocked Mutation! First, you can get it naturally during a Thunderstorm weather event. Or you can manually put it on a fruit using a Mutation Spray Shocked. Fortunately, you can craft this Mutation Spray at the Cosmetics / Crafting Stall. The only way to get the Static Mutation revolves around the Raiju pet. You’ll need to have Shocked crops in your garden that the Raiju can eat to then mutate others with Static. The third one is the Maelstrom Mutation, which can also be a little annoying to get. This is another combination mutation, which means you’ll need to get the Tempestuous and Cyclonic mutations. While it doesn’t matter what order you get each mutation on your plant, once they’re all on it, they’ll combine to make Stormcharged. Another one that requires a combination is the Cosmic Mutation. What Does the Stormcharged Mutation Do?

Like all mutations, Stormcharged adds a value multiplier to your crops. We haven’t confirmed yet how much this multiplier increases the profits of your fruit. But hopefully it’s a lot since it requires a lot of work to get!
