This was planted last fall. What could be happening to it? It is drip irrigated. It is either a santa rosa or methley plum.

    The fact that the new growth is browning first makes me think it’s water-related, but I say that based on my understanding of plant physiology rather than any kind of specific, real-world arboriculture experience (I have none)

    This is probably a stupid question, but…couldn’t you just prune those branches? The rest of the tree seems pretty happy
